ABOUT ME

I’ve never been very good at staying inside a job description.

My career started in sales, but I kept getting curious about everything happening around the sale. Why were customers getting stuck? What did they need to understand before they could use a product well? Could we make something easier instead of adding another meeting?

That curiosity eventually pulled me into product adoption, customer education, and enablement. I didn’t exactly plan this career.

I studied biology in college. Most of what I know about this work came later, from doing it. I taught myself learning design and frameworks like Kirkpatrick. I found mentors, asked for coffee chats, learned from product and sales teams, and volunteered for work that technically wasn’t mine yet.

That became a pattern throughout my career. If I didn’t understand something, I learned it. If I saw a gap, I usually wanted to figure out how to fill it.

I like figuring out what doesn’t have a playbook yet.

Some of my favorite roles have given me room to build something that didn’t fully exist yet.

I’ve gone from selling a product to helping customers adopt it, building education around it, enabling the teams selling it, and eventually using AI and automation to make those systems faster and more useful.

I’m comfortable living in that space between functions. I don’t care that much about whose box something technically belongs in. I’m more interested in understanding the problem, finding the right people, and figuring out what would make it work.

And outside of work…

I’ve been making music for as long as I can remember. These days, that means producing music and DJing, but I’ve pretty much always had some kind of creative project going.

When I’m not doing that, I’m usually spending time with friends, walking along the lake in Chicago, hanging out with a dog whenever I get the chance, or doing something active. I love pickleball, biking, running, lifting, and getting outside.

I think the creative side of me inevitably finds its way into my work too. I care about how things look and feel, I like experimenting, and I genuinely enjoy making things people want to use.
